TransQuest is responsible for developing network and security requirements, architecture and design for the Black WAN, which represents a strategic direction requiring the development and deployment of a ubiquitous unclassified network infrastructure at cryptologic field sites. Encrypted and unclassified data, voice, and video flows will be transported over this common network infrastructure. This network will interconnect encrypted and unclassified CAN infrastructures through appropriate security boundary mechanisms.
