TQ Scholarship Sends Youth to Intel Summit

Westlake Village, CA - February 14, 2014 - A sophomore at St. Genevieve High School in Panorama City, CA is this year's recipient of TransQuests' "Outstanding Youth Leadership Award," which is given to an exceptional young leader each year with interests in exploring a career in national intelligence. Noah Weise of North Hills, CA was presented with the award this week by TransQuest CEO David Crocker. Weise will use the accompanying scholarship to fund roundtrip airfare and full tuition to The National Youth Leadership Forum (NYLF): Careers in National Security – Diplomacy, Intelligence & Defense to be held March 4 - March 9 at George Mason University in Washington, DC. The summit is a six-day program that prepares high school students for careers in defense, intelligence and the diplomatic corps.

Weise, who carries a 4.57 GPA, is a leader in the community. He has organized trips to help Nicaraguan orphanages, collects and distributes food to the needy locally, provides home maintenance help for a pregnant women's shelter and is very active in his church. He is a dedicated fencer eyeing the Olympic team and a highly accomplished Spanish guitar player. "It's my personal honor to select Noah for this award," said Crocker. "Our great nation, and especially the intelligence community, needs young people like him. I'm very pleased to recognize the outstanding achievements of our amazing young people today."

Expansion at DIA Continues

Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling, Washington, DC. - December 17, 2012 - With its long-standing presence at the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA), TransQuest Federal continued to expand its role at the national agency by being awarded a share of the new Solutions for Intelligence Analysis (SIA) contract through its prime partner, SRA International, a leading provider of technology and strategic consulting services and solutions. Through the award, TransQuest will expand its support to the DIA's Army, Navy, Marine Corps and Air Force Service Centers, as well as the Combatant Commands. The strategic mission is to provide military intelligence to warfighters, defense policymakers and force planners in the Department of Defense (DoD) and the intelligence community, as well as in support of U.S. military planning and operations and weapon systems acquisition.

TransQuest Participates in Job Fair

Linthicum Heights, MD - October 17, 2012 - TransQuest Federal Systems gave away prizes at their table at this year's TechExpo Job Fair October 17th, 2012 held at the BWI Marriott in Linthicum Heights. The fair will run from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. and TransQuest will be recruiting for its positions across the globe.

TransQuest COO Doug Hamilton is thrilled to be a part of the event. "With so many opportunities in our ever-expanding footprint in the DoD here and overseas, it makes sense that we take extra measures and steps to meet and hire today's finest technical personnel. A job fair like this is a win-win for everyone involved," he explained.

Outgoing Chief Lauds TransQuest Employee

Kabul, Afghanistan - October 2012 - The outgoing Chief of DSLA in Kabul issued a TransQuest employee great praise when he presented him with an official LOI for, among other things "...his oversight, hands-on expertise and selfless attitude..." all of which resulted in zero downtime during the Chief's tenure. It was the second such letter received by a TransQuest employee in Kabul in as many years.

"Obviously, I'm very proud of our service in the field, where the conditions are harsh and it can sometimes be a stretch to keep a good attitude," said TransQuest COO Doug Hamilton. "Our people are who we are and his performance makes us all look good. His personal recognition is well-deserved and we are very proud and pleased for him," Hamilton concluded.

Employees Thank TransQuest

Afghanistan - March 2012 - As a token of its appreciation, TransQuest recently shipped its employees based in Afghanistan for Operation Enduring Freedom 50 lbs. of Omaha steaks, which received a very warm welcome. The company also installed a commercial Internet connection, which arenot so readily available, allowing its employees to access the Internet from personal computers.

"We always emphasize family..." said TransQuest CEO David Crocker, "After all, we are a family at TQ. It was our pleasure to be able to connect our people with their loved ones at home. It's great to see how something so simple can make someone's day and I am proud to be a part of that."

In return, the Transquest employees in Afghanistan got together and created an Award of Appreciation and presented it to Crocker. The award is proudly displayed in the TransQuest lobby in California.

TransQuest Expands Services at GEOC

Cheyenne Mountain, CO - February 2012 - TransQuest has been awarded an increased role at the Global Enterprise Operations Center (GEOC) in Colorado Springs, CO. TransQuest's expanded role at the GEOC will now include 24x7x365 System Event Monitoring for Enterprise Applications, Systems, and Core Services to provide proactive management of these systems and ensure the highest possible availability. The GEOC provides first contact resolution for all SITE Enterprise Operations Tier 2/3 issues and remote SITE Customer Engagement issues not requiring touch maintenance while reporting resolution actions and operational impacts to the customer’s mission.

TransQuest Tokyo Receives Praise from Commander

Yokota Air Base, Japan - December 2011 - Chief of Operations J2 at the high visibility Japan Defense Intelligence Headquarters (JDIH) has recognized TransQuest for its outstanding network support. Our team was credited for engineering and improving network solutions for the JDIH that included a more secure and maintainable solution. We have also been commended for not only the highest quality, best highest number of completed service requests on the contract at this location.
